Kaillie Humphries won a historic gold medal in Beijing 2022 when she won the first ever Olympic monobob competition. The 36-year-old was one of the driving forces behind the inclusion of a second women’s bobsled competition in the Olympic program. She won ahead of her teammate Elana Meyers Taylor of the USA, who took silver, and Christine de Bruin, the Canadian, who took bronze. Already in Vancouver 2010 and Sochi 2014 she won the bronze medal in the two-man bobsleigh!
